David Kamp: Music & Sound Design

David Kamp just launched a new website featuring his original composition and sound design work for Peppermelon, David O’ Reilly, Bitstate, Lowerground and many others. He’s going to be working on not one but two of the pieces for PSST! 3: Rex Crowle‘s piece and the team of Florian Witzel, Anh Vu and Kim Dulaney. Can’t wait to see and hear both of those! Nice job on the new site, too. Looks great.

Mixtape Club: Wait For Summer

Flux has a great interview and behind-the-scenes post about Mixtape Club’s awesome video for Yeasayer which I can’t believe I neglected here. Fellow PSST’er Kim Dulaney also helped design on the project.

Megunica

Megunica is a documentary by Lorenzo Fonda, who is currently working on a section of PSST! 3. It follows Blu, an amazing grafffiti artist, on a road trip through Mexico, Gautemala, Nicaragua and Argentina painting on walls and other adventures. Looks amazing and will be released soon.

Blu also just released a film called MUTO which is burning up the internets. It’s a spectacular piece of painting / animation. And he’s now at work on a piece at / on the Tate Modern in London.

Living and Dying Part 1

Adam Gault has done another collaborative self-initiated piece which is just plain amazing. Living and Dying Part 1 is based on a series of paintings by Stefanie Augustine and has a mesmerizing soundtrack by her sister Alison Augustine. As the title suggests, there may be more in this series. I’m looking forward to them.

Paintings for sale here.
