PSST! 1+2 alumni Mate Steinforth has a new project called Muwiklup. Their mission statement:
Muwiklup is to discuss concepts on Friday, Shoort on Saturday, Edit on Sunday and leave the weekend with a finished clip.
Whatever is not done on Sunday night can not be included in the release. Even if the Clip is unfinished or unperfect, it has to be released at the end of the weekend. The idea behind muwiklup is all about embracing the process and not be afraid of errors. Failure is your friend! Muwiklup is the time to let go of learned patterns and explore new things.
Muwiklup is based on a rotation of jobtitles. One time you’re the director, next time you’re the grip. It’s all about learning new things for everyone involved.
